Lyft: Bring back primetime and offer drivers a voice on the job!

LA and OC Rideshare Drivers,

When Lyft took away Primetime and told us it was "based on your feedback", we polled drivers to see what they actually thought about Primetime and its replacement, Personal Power Zones. The response from drivers is clear: We never asked Lyft to get rid of Primetime.

Primetime was rarely available, but it was highly predictable during closing time, events and holidays. Personal Power Zones, on the other hand, are just another way for Lyft to manipulate fares and increase their profit on the backs of drivers.

Members have overwhelmingly told us that their Lyft earnings are DOWN after the introduction of Personal Power Zones.

Now, California legislators are attempting to crack down on Lyft and Uber's abuses, but we need to support their efforts and tell Lyft and Uber: Enough is enough.

After reviewing all of the responses to our last poll, Rideshare Drivers United has heard the voices of our membership and will protest Lyft Drivers Hub - Los Angeles.

NOW IS THE TIME for Uber/Lyft drivers to stand together in protest of Lyft's Personal Power Zones and in support of AB5 regulation.

Where:

Lyft Drivers Hub

622 S Santa Fe Ave.

Downtown Los Angeles

Date: Tuesday, July 2, 2019

Time: 12-2pm

We need you to join us on Tuesday to take a stand. Legislators around the state are watching us, and we need YOU to show up and tell them they need to stop Uber/Lyft from continually slashing driver pay.

-Rideshare Drivers United

P.S. Parking is extremely limited near the Lyft hub. There is street parking throughout the area and a few paid parking structures in the area. A few local lots have $3/15 min with varying max parking prices.
